A sneak peak of a sketch for my new grape+frog designed popstar character for Yellow Days!

Rambling:

I’ve finished two more sketches that I’ll ink and colour sometime soon, and I’m working on the front, side and back shot for this character above. I’ll do the dynamic shot later on.

To reiterate, I’m only uploading my sheets after they’re digitally edited. I’ve only colours and inked 2 pieces, but including my sketches I’ll hopefully be at about 7-11 coloured and inked shots done before next week, so hopefully 10-25% of the source (not digital edits and actual sheets, but the original traditional art I make, since I draw traditionally and edit digitally for my style) will hopefully be done by the weekend. It’s been absolutely exhausting and time consuming, but it’s hard work. I’ve a thumbnailed most of these characters, so I’m not falling behind or anything.

I’m aiming for all of my sheets to be uploaded by the end of August, or just a handful my the end of July. Sheets will include a front, back, side and dynamic alternate costume shot. Expect me to work on backgrounds after and studying perspective / my cubes, hands, and other stuff for a few months after all 11 sheets are done. Further questions about my process are welcome :)
